Chinatown, Bangkok, Thailand

In April of 2017 I moved from Montreal to Bangkok to teach English. Yeah, I was and still am one of those. As of this writing, I’ve been living abroad for a touch over three years, with two years spent in Thailand and a year in Busan, South Korea, now coming to an end. In between, I hopped around fairly large portions of Asia.

Most of the posts on this blog are adapted from emails I’d sent my immediate family and a few close friends who didn’t have access to Facebook, letting them know what I was up to and what I’d experienced while living and traveling abroad. As such, these posts act more as a travelogue than they do a travel guide, though hopefully they might serve as the latter at times as well.
