Teaching Abroad: The TEFL job search comes to an end

Welp, after about four months of solid research and leg work, I can now say with a reasonable amount of certainty that I know where I’ll be spending the rest of 2017 and into 2018. Just yesterday I signed a contract with an organization in Thailand to teach at a school in Bangkok.

I have to be in Bangkok on April 1, so I literally have less than a month left here in Canada.

It hasn’t entirely hit me just yet—and things aren’t 100% certain until I get the contract back, duly signed by the organization’s director—but I’m sure the realization will slap me upside the head and spin me ’round soon enough.

Until then, gotta prep, gotta enjoy Montreal and, most importantly, gotta enjoy the people I may not see for some time . . .
