So, it was the last day of prep courses. The next day I would fly to Singapore for a few days, returning next the following Tuesday.
I was closing out my first week teaching and had been living in Bangkok for a month...
Within my first two weeks living in Thailand, I visited Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Siam.
So, within a couple days I’d settled fairly well into my apartment, but the most interesting development was my first trip to Bangkok’s Chinatown.
So, I'd learned that my hotel was booked up for the next few days, meaning I had one night left before I would need to find an apartment.

So, turned out my hostel was located in Baan Khrua, the historically Muslim quarter of Bangkok.
I made it safe and sound from Montreal to Bangkok. I didn't want to sleep upon arrival so I explored the area and went out for food.
